I want inequality questons (1 Viewer)

i'm having trouble with these inequalities....

is there any tips that u guys have to master it (or atleast get good at it?)

Which one? A few q's earlier on in this thread were way above 4U difficulty, and probably to annoy richard to some degree (I'm sorry! ) But for example, if you don't get the a/b+b/c+c/d+d/a one, then there are some tips you could use...
probably knowing how to use a^2+b^2>=2ab is very useful. Another one is factorising and proving the factors are all greater than or equal to zero...

umm, dont kno if this will help, but:

to prove A>B, you have 2 methods.
1. A - B = 0; or
2. A/B = 0

??..hows that possible, in case 1, shouldn't then a=b?
and in case 2, shouldn't a=0... then again is it a theorem?

can u explain to me what u meant by this? and yeah, i was just asking general tips about doing inequalities.

1. A - B > 0
2. A/B > 1
