I'm doing com/law at UNSW this year. I've already enrolled online so I went to UNSW the other day to get my ID card and everything. I got it but on the ID card, it only says law for the faculty. What happened to the commerce part of my degree or is it supposed to be like that?

Also, i didnt get a unipass with my ID card. What's the unipass for anyway?

I also heard there's a advising session for the commerce and economics ppl tomorrow. I didnt get a letter. Does that mean I also have to go?

Thanks

Whoa, youre eager.

I was a week into classes before I even bothered with mine since the queues were all so big before that

Im just looking at mine from last year and it only says "ARTS" even though I do a combined degree but I never had any problems. In fact, I dont even think I pulled it out once except to get my name marked off in rolls and for travel concessions.

With the unipass thing it was said above that you should have gotten a receipt with your number (which is directly below the name on last years IDs) and your temporary password.

If you didnt get that though, just go to the Disconnect website and get their helpdesk phone number and give them a call (you can also email them but they do it quicker if you are on the phone).

don't worry. it doesn't state it. it's not supposed to coz you're a combined student and Law > Commerce anyway :p

not really unless you got a question to ask about electives, majors or specialisations :)

Id recommend you go to the advising sessions. I missed my one either because I was working or getting stoned (basically all I did in the school > uni holiday) and I was totally lost when it came to enrollment and it bit me hard when I was figuring my enrollment this year because I wasnt entirely sure of how my academic program was planned out. The information given in the course guide is pretty incoherent and hard to understand too.
