I better get mine on Monday. After i enrolled on the 28th of Jan, i couldn't get one because the machine was done.
Went to Blacktown for my orientation, couldn't get one because the machine was done.

when i was at the train station
i used my old skool consession that expires 31 march
and he saw my student card in my wallet and sed its a 200 fine to have both
i was like wtf
i dont have a sticker yet so i use this one
he goes dont let anyone catch u

thanks for reminding me too...I didn't even think about doing that, so cheers 
hehe ... its ok Jacks - I just don't wanna run into those stupid transit officers and try to be fined. Argh! There was one morning on the train ... I had my ticket checked like6 times ... grr. Oh well ... as long as I have a ticket and a sticker I should be alright.

yeah the sticker on your ID card entitles you to concession travel on trains, amongst some other forms of travel, like on sydney public buses (private companies require their own pass.) You won't be able to use your other ID if you're referring to one you used in high school as that expires soon...and you're not meant to use it when you have your uni ID card anyways.

The id machine at parra is broken, does this mean i can go to hawkesburry and get it done? as i have two classes at hawkesbury on a thursday.

Does our ID card allow us to get concessions for using the T way or is it just for rail?

I take it you don't have the other concession card that they give you in high school? You know the one I mean? If you have that you can use that until you get an ID card, as it doesn't expire until the end of March or something like that. Don't worry though you should be able to get one soon.

Sydney buses don't accept it? I've never tried but I assumed public buses would accept it. You can still use it on trains though. Busways doesn't accept it because they are a private bus company, they won't accept your student ID card either. To travel on busways you need a special concession pass just for them...you can pick a form up from the student centre...let me know if you need one and don't know how to get one.
I tried to use my green concession pass from School on friday and they charged my $1.60 from Parra Station to Parra uni. And this is there pricing structureCape said:
