ive been thinking about dropping modern history as i got a 40% on my first test of year 12. i feel like all my subjects are good except for modern and feel like dropping it would lift some weight off my shoulders. however i dont know how confident i am in myself to not mess anything up on 10 units. I feel a lot safer with 12, even though my modern mark is at a 40%. though, ive been sort of losing interest in the course as i just feel bored in the topics im learning. pls help if i should drop or not

Def drop. Cause if modern is pulling u down, ur doing bad, ur not motivated, etc then ur better off working hard in ur other subjects and doing well in it. Cause even if u have a backup, it doesn’t seem like modern will help I that much

think about it

There's no difference for if you mess up the other 10 units if you keep modern history. With 12 units, you have less time to dedicate to the other units and your 40% in modern history is NOT saving yo ahh if you bomb out on some of those other 10 units. Indeed, you are not safer at all if you keep modern.
