IE Help (1 Viewer)

Hey all, I've got a problem with IE, really dont know why it does it:

Basically, when i type an address and hit enter it loads Firefox and opens the page in there, leaving IE blank and the page opened in Firefox. This started happening after i uninstalled IE7. I am back to IE6, and thats basically when it started doing it. I really can't work out why it does it. Any ideas? (Please don't recommend to just use firefox, because i need IE too).

The only thing I can think of is that you've had the FirefoxView extension at some point and it's now corrupted in some way. A fresh install of IE *should* fix it. That's really odd, to say the least.

Managed to fix it. Thanks for the help though

Nah, it was just the registry wasnt updated properly when IE7 uninstalled so it still thought IE7 was installed instead of IE6. When it saw no IE7, it redirected it to Firefox.
