i am doing esl, 2u math, ipt, std and chinese background,

my rank is in the average

is possible my UAI can reach up to 70's ?

if you rip the hsc you can achieve a uai up to 90's.....comfortably as well...

Theoretically, average marks would achieve an average UAI, which would be around 66.

but what about with harder subjects? as in exts of maths and eng, or even ext2, with sciences etc. then what could the uai be like?

Harder subjects don't mean they scale better :p

But with good scaling subjects i presume that the uai will of course be a little higher

but to an extent they do

u cant expect standard maths to be worth the same as 4u maths

It's because the people doing general maths are those that as bright as the people doing extension 2.

But i understand, it does feel like harder subjects scale better.

oh yeah i sorta c what u mean

if all the smart people did std then it would scale well? coz they look at how people int he courses did in all their other subjects?

so on that note, i do think it could be said that harder courses scale better

what about if you get around 75-80 percent in assesment tasks and then bum out in hsc... doe sthat mean ur screwed? or what
i dont understand the whole scaling up shit... whats it all mean?
