You really shouldn't worry about making it into uni or not. Uni isn't the end of the world if you don't make it. Many careers don't even need a degree, or you might find that once your in uni, it wasn't what you expected. But if you don't make it into your course, you could always go to tafe then transfer (but check with the uni first for the requirements) or try for another course with a lower UAI and transfer interally.

yes it is kinda bad 2nd time round
1. your self-eestem is gone
2. you might get more bad marks and hence a lower UAI

I would become a bass player in a world renowned rock n' roll band while developing my own unified theory bassed on the harmonic oscillations of my bottom end bass string.

I didn't get into uni this year, I applied to do a BA in journalism. Now I'm doing something completely different than what I thought I'd be doing. I'm studying welfare and social work at Tafe and loving it. I'm not sure if I still wanna go to uni and study psychology (If I transfer over to Pyschology I'll go into 2nd yr) or whether I'm going stay at Tafe and do the dip course in Welfare and social work.
