No, I'm in Yr 10 and I want to know how much next year really matters.

No you wont, I know ppl who got 20% for shit in year 11 still went on, they dont care.

No. You can fail all your subjects so long as you've made a serious attempt. If you get an N-award then you may have to repeat as that subject will go longer count as the 2 units (or 1 unit) towards your preliminary HSC.

This.

You can get an N-Award for the following:

-Not submitting in a task (assignment)
-Absence from school for too many days
-Missing an assessment (being away on the day of your exam, and not following the necassary procedures to do an alternative one i.e. skipping out on the exam all together)
-Plagarism
-Cheating

are some of the major ones.

I don't know how many N-awards you can get before it becomes serious. I know for the SC it's 3, but you should check on the board of studies site or with your teacher.

Just to be safe, don't get any.
