that question is not that hard compared to some 2 unit bs i did in year 11

oh well i would probly stuff up something in it and get shit marks for that q lol

rofl, this may be a bit late of a reply, but
similar triangles.
2 angles common, so 3rd angle must be common,
(both share a common angle and both have a 90 degree angle)
that is, equalangular.

take the proportion of the triangle
ie d/200=20/x
xd=4000
d=4000/x
relationship, as x increasing, d decreases

Q 25 (a) (i)

(1) Similar figures = ACB, AED

(2) Enlargement factor = AC/AE
= 200/50
= 4

(3) CB = 20 x 4
= 80 cm

im pretty sure q25 ii) has something to do with inverse variation rather than scale factor as d varies inversely with x. I just havnt figured out the formula yet

x varies inversely with d
therefore, x = ? / d

i dunno wat the ? number is
