Maybe some of you guys may be intrested in becoming one too.

first its 18 + only

first off its only a full-time opportunity; 76 hours a fort.

pay is good;

$17.8 p/h to lift cards and collect and give chips, REALLY HARD WORK !! lol.

15% bonus for night shift

25% bonus for saturday days

50% bonus for sat nights and sunday day.

after 3 months your pay increases to $19.2 p/h

The best part of the job is this........... EVERY HOUR you get a 15 minute break for your entire shift. you alse have 4 free meals in the hot food area.

it is a fun job and i would reccomend it to anyone.

if your intrested in a job PM me and ill refer you to Human Resources.

i made this thread because when i finished my HSC i had no idea what i wanted to do i worked 3-4 jobs before i became a dealer and its fun good work and maybe people could be intrested.

usually u need to be a level 6 dealer before they consider promotion to a game supervisor.

that means youll need to learn 3 major games so maybe 3-4 years before they consider you for promotion, but the quickest promotions i have seen from dealer to supervisor wouldve been 6 years, then youll be on a salary of around 65k

after super youll become a pit boss and after that a casino duty manager.

there are a couple of guys who started as dealers 12 years ago and now they are CDMs on big salarys.

there are also people who are just getting promoted to a supervisor after 12 years.

it all depends on how hard you work, how reliable and likeable you are. If you keep ur nose clean and have no sick days, are never late etc. you can go far.

6 years is a bit long but the quickist i have seen is 2.5 years and it's only HD which means Level 7 pay not 67k salary this is after you become full time Supervisor.

Are u trying 2 get that prize they are offering to find them dealers ?

Hey golfpro,

Would you happen to know if Star City are flexible with their shifts, as i am a full-time university student, BUT, am only required to attend uni twice a week, and am also available for crazy-ass night shifts.

I could work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (at any time), and morning or night shifts on fridays.

I always wanted to get a job at Star City, but i wasn't sure if they were flexible or not.

If they are i would be VERY interested in applying.

Thanks.

Oh i think i may have not explained myself properly. I could work full time, but not necessarily ANY shift in a 24hr/7 day period, if you get what i mean.

the way thy roster is in cycles, so for one month you will work eiter day morning or night

then the next month you will work one shift the whole time.

morning shift starts 4am - 12 pm

day is 12pm ill 8pm

night 8pm - 4am

so you will only work one shift fulltime for one month then another for a month

Did someone say, Croupier?

Hello Golf Pro,

I am quite interested in becoming a croupier at Star City. I have worked already as a croupier in France and really enjoyed it. I have heard that Star City is a nice place to work and look forward to making contact with HR for a chance to sit an interview. Is there a training stage and how long does this run for? I will be available full-time from April so would like to start arranging interviews etc... Who would be the best person to contact about working at Star City, any help you could give me is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
Max
