For exchange rates: Malaysia AUD$1 for 2.7 Malay Ringit

Or South-East Asia. Japan. A bit more costly, but so worth it.

HK has good shopping.... but as far as i can recall that's about all there is. it's good for shopping and nightstuff and hot italian men working over there... but yeah, not much else. and it's like, a sea of little black-haired people all over the streets. omg. so. many. people. like an ant colony.

went to HK in 1998

back then it was fairly cheap. if you're into upbeat cities that dont sleep then you'd like HK. i dunno now though, i assume it'd still be cheap. there was a stop over in indonesia for a few hours, so it's (or was) a hectic flight). we caught a ferry across to china too and as far as i remember it wasnt expensive to catch the ferry.

oh yeah and the shopping is amazing.

just watch out for mcdonalds over there. i went and lol'd at the menu :s

iceland's hot springs ftw, that's one of the main reasons i wanna go there

and if you've seen hostel 2, one of the hot springs from iceland was used. It is so fucking beautiful.
