Honestly, I wouldn't count on getting anything done while you're away. You'll be out of it because of jetlag for a while, and after that, you probably won't want to do anything. Unless you're missing school and need to catch up on stuff, there's not really much point. You probably wouldn't be working much if you were at home, anyway. The only thing I managed to get done while I was on an exchange over the Christmas holidays last year was reading for English, because you can do that in airports/at night/during classes at school that you don't do at home.
