I've got 'boring straight, black hair' too. (I thought it was your real hair, but without any shampooing, or rather, with shampooing, without the rinsing :p - not to mention the hair clippy things, to curl your hair).

Name: Huy
Gender: Male
Origin: Vietnamese

Meaning: Glorious

As given by my etymological resources.

Anna? Because Claire (from your nickname) means bright.

well wherever i go i'll have to travel (hurstville) so i figured i might as well travel and hour and half to macquarie by public transport..its either that or travel an hour and half to wollongong...or make several changes on my route to unsw for example....

however...if i can use my dad's car...it'll only take me 40 mins to macquarie....PLEAAAAAASSSEEEEEE DDAADDDDDDDYYYYYYY!!

i think its faster for me to walk to uni than drive.

clairegirl,

I don't know a thing about driving, but I know the M2 is a motorhighway. All universities are far for me, with the exception of UWS (Bankstown campus), which is fairly close. USYD and UNSW are pretty easy to get to, but the last time I went to USYD, I had to walk for a little while from Redfern Station (although I'm sure there are bus services to the University of Sydney, as with all universities).

BOS (should) be able to plan and organise/run an Internet meet in a social setting, as there are talks of a BBQ (or rather, rumours/whispers). I wouldn't mind going to MQ, if I lived a little closer to the city - I just don't want to get up at say, 5am each morning, shower (for half an hour to an hour, I just don't know how time flies in the shower -- don't get any ideas :p), followed by twenty minutes of walking to the train station, waiting for another five to ten, another hour by train, possibly ten to twenty minutes by train -- it all adds up in the long run. By the time I get to MQ, it would have been 8am; although this may be a 'slight' exaggeration. ;)

About being addicted to this board -- I'm glad that you've decided to be a part of this community, after the HSC. If you were to frequent this board during it's peak (before, during, after Trial HSC Exams and before, during, and after HSC Exams) - all year round, I should think that your marks would have been affected, although not severely.

Enjoy the forums, :)
muahahahhha ooops :|
