Im lost on page 17-20 of chem context 2 (thermoplastics,thermosetting,elastomers)

What are they talking about? This chain stuff i cant visualise it.
Especially the covalent bond part of thermosetting(i dont get the diagram).

Because of this annoying confusions, i procastinate and feel theres too much theory i wont understand.

I don't have that book so I don't know which parts you are referring to. Try another textbook and/or the CSU chemistry site (www.hsc.csu.edu.au/chemistry)

Yay, another school that uses Chemistry Contexts! Don't have the book here with me (it's in my locker ).

hey i think this thermosetting and thermoplastic elastomers stuff is no longer in da syllabus.....

but check it once...... though i think i m quite right....

I don't think you need to know any of that stuff. I don't see any mention of it in the syllabus so I know I'm not going to learn it.
