IM FREAKING OUT !!! HOW CAN U DO WELL IN I.T.!!!!! I ONLY HAVE 11 UNITS!!!! AND I NEED A BAND 6 OR ILL GET A CRAPPY UAI!!@!@!@!

i couldnt study for it!!! 78% i had chem and math 3u THE NEXT DAY!!!


but i studied a day for half yearlies and i got 90%

only two - the school gave us ONE book that DOESNT cover the whole syllabus in the hsc

the book i BOUGHT was EXCEL (which doesnt have the new topics)


like, of course ill do past papers, but past papers wont have the new syllabus in it like advice for clients etc!!!

i thought the excel book covers client advice and stuff...

were both gonna be sitting in the IT exam in like 6 weeks time from now

Haha the vet IT exam will be indeed scary (with the new client requirements stuff it will be harder to get a band 6)

my advice:
your school should have done work with you on Client requirements so you should be ok...Theres a 2008 SPECIMEN PAPER for VET IT! (this should be a real eye opener!)...i need a UAI of 92 and it isnt looking promising
also with long responses (i did 4 past papers these holidays) FORMATTING IS IMPORTANT i.e. markers complain people dont have a clue with how to set up a REPORT or a MEMO..learn to do this and you will get a band 6!

if ur still worried about client requirements...hopefully you've called Microsoft once and asked them to solve a problem, try recalling WHAT they said HOW they said it and HOW they solved the problem

VET IT is my first exam and tbh my class has been playing dota since term 4 of 2007! (this is no joke lol)...teacher is alright but lenient and we never work yet most of our will get band 4 to band 5 and some badn 6...if you generally know IT stuff you should be looking at band 5..for band 6...writing a report, memo, working with excel!! (mail merge was in the specimen paper) revise and good luck
