need help anyone plzzzz i need points for how the berlin wall affected the US-Soviet relations

you can talk about territorial demands (i.e. the reason why there was the split)
events during the crisis that heightened hostility between us and soviet (such as cuba missile crisis)
on this point you can talk about how they each threatened eachother with nuclear warfare.
