as the question states, i have a brief understanding on it, but i think a few more opinions would help me.
impacts towards: econmy, businesses , consumers

bad for economy as high u/e = people have less money = people spend less money so economic growth slows

bad for consumers too for same reason

and once again bad for businesses too cause less people demanding things

Unemployment is good for an economy because it tends to lead to lower inflation and lowers input costs for businesses.
