OK, everyones opinion is welcomed......

- Which UNI is the best for party/social life
- Best Uni for education

and along with the uni can you give some feedback on the coolest accomodation at whatever uni u attend.

by the way...im tossing up between UNSW, wollongong, newcastle and ANU.

What do you want to study, for starters?

hey this is SchizM, yeah im hoping to study engineering.....electrical, civil, mining or mechatronics. Im still deciding.

I do want a uni that will give me a great education, however, i want to have a lot of fun whilst at uni also.

All unis have different social lives.. you'll find that you spend the most time away from uni if you do a "bludgy" (ie < 20hr weeks) degree and if you're at uni a lot you'll be too busy working to party hard.

It's AFTER uni.. like midsession and end of session breaks.. that you do the most partying, i'm serious.

Social life: College or UTS Ku-Ring-Gai (hot chicks too).
Education: Degree dependent.

Out of those four, Newcastle is a good combination of both I think. However I really don't think it's wise choosing a Uni based on the social life it offers. It's a time where we're meant to start taking education seriously. All unis give a social life, but if it doesn't suit you just have a social life outside uni.

Uni is meant to be where you learn how to live, which requires you to get a life (I'm failing in this respect) and to gain a degree.
