I went out with a friend and a big group of her mates i hadnt met before on fri clubbing,......

anyways. The moment I saw one of her friends (call him M), i was really attracted, but we didnt get dance together cos M usually got sucked into minding bags we chatted for a bit, and had a 20sec *dance* when i sadly said i had to go home...

the little prob is, i didnt get a chance to get M's number, but one of his close mates (call him A) who M shares a flat with, was into me, and so A gave me his number (and A even tried to kiss me as i was hugging goodbye...)

Is it wrong for me to use my connections with A to get to know M better?

If you were in M's position, would you cease being interested in me cos your good mate A got my number first (and thus i'm now off limits)?

sooo i feel kinda mean... cos as much as i love A's company and want to hang out with him, i am more attracted to M. and i dont want to cause an upset between M and A, especially since they live together.

I wouldn't say you're off-limits at all. Mates sisters are off-limits. And serious ex-girlfriends. And girlfriends to some extent.

I would say it's ok to get M's number through A. But don't play him.

i was in the exact same position.. i ended up gonig out with neither of them becaise i knew, regardless it would have gotten complicated (well, im my situation)

so, just think if M is worth going out with then go for it, but if A is going to make things complicted, then there are other guys out there
