So, all of you doing Indonesian? I am doing Indonesian as Background Speakers now....It's funny that eventhough we are all surrounded by Indonesian (We are in Jakarta, using NSW curriculum), speak to ppl in Indonesian, write, and communicate in Indonesian...I mean this is Indonesia...but sometimes and for some ppl, most of the time, we do better in our ESL than our Indonesian....funny, isn't it?

Well, speak Indonesian? Try this...

Halo, apa kabar, nama saya VQ. (Eh....I dunno whether all of you doing beginners or advanced....Probably this is too easy, isn't it?)

wah kasihan VQ!

I am doing Indonesian as Background Speakers, anyway, and I do it because it is the only Indonesian my school offers and since we are in Indonesia, and still have the chance to join UAN (Indonesian's funal exam n certificate) besides HSC, we have to do Indo of some sort and voila...that's IBS...dunno why...probably becoz we live here n speak the same lang of Indo everyday, eh?

Umm....really, Sarah...ur Indo is quite good...

aku ambil extension indo. Ahh terima kasih VQ, tapi bahasaku belum lancar! (especially my slang!) Sebaliknya, bahasa inggrismu sangat lancar! Berapa lama kamu belajar bahasa inggris?

Eh....thx anyway...I learned English since I was in kindergarten...huww...still remember that I was once memorizing. "A. Apple, B. Ball...etc..." :D

Well, I am living in Tangerang, a city located just right beside Jakarta but I go to a school in Jakarta...huww....about 40mins away from my house...I went to Jogja several times and enjoyed my trips there (although I admit that nowadays the city becomes too crowded with traffic here and there...still, the traffic is better than Jakarta...)

Panggil saja saya VQ, nama kalian siapa? Sarahh....

Iya, panggil saya sarah saja!
I agree with you, except sometimes I find it more comfortable to express myself in Indonesian (rather than engish :) )!

Apalagi pulau-pulaunya =)
