I did question b, mainly because I wasn't sure what was meant by 'failure of the Geneva Agreement' in question b. i.e did it mean the failure of reunification elections to be held or the escalation of the war.
With b my argument was basically that the loss of support for the war on the homefront brought about the Vietnamisation of the war and hence withdrawal of US troops, and that this was mainly due to the media's portayal of the Tet offensive and My Lai. And then that South Vietnam's defeat was due to the incompetency of ARVN.
