Hey, I got stuck in a question 3 months back and I asked my teacher about it. Back then, I understood it and now when I look back at it, I don't know what he did, so can someone please explain to me what he did? I don't know where he got the 4^k and +92 from ...

It's on about the 12th Line down and you can tell it's him writing it because there's a change in the writing.

he made -23 into -115 and + 92 and made the -4.4^k into -5.4^k + 4^k
