Wait where am I going wrong?
Untitled.png

first part is okay.

ii) Let.... Assume.....
RTP: T(n+1)= 2 cos(2(n+1) pi/3)

LHS= -T(n) - T(n-1)
-2( 2cos(2n pi/3) + 2cos (2(n-1)pi/3)
Since hold true for n then also true for n-1
-4(cos((2n-1)pi/3)cos(2pi/3))
= 2cos ((2n-1)pi/3)

"Since hold true for n then also true for n-1"

That is a nonsense statement.
This has to be part of your ASSUMPTION.
