If they ask about an investigation demonstarte a principle behind Induction Motor then either experiment on motor effect or induced emf is ok ,right???

Ya ya... you have to talk about the induced emf...

The induction motor is different to the motor effect, no?

no its is its complement:)

a conductor with a current flowing in it will move if a changing mag field is introduced. conversely, when a changing magnetic field is introduced to a conductor, a current will be induced.

both use right hand paml rule

Yep that's right, but this dotpoint is specifically referring to induced emf, cos there is already a dotpoint dedicated to a prac with the motor effect.

just demonstrate induction?

get a conductor and move it in a field whilst connected to a galvanometer/voltmeter? or get a coil and spin it in a field while connected 2 a galvanometer/voltmeter?

i remember reading somewhere about using an aluminium disk, a magnet and a pencil to perform this investigation. this procedure seems a lot more complicated...are the two basically the same?

would you get marked down for using the quantitative method instead of the qualitative method or vice versa?

Nah it doesn't have to be quantitative, it just says "demonstrate".
