Heyo, I'm doing an assessment about our option module "Industrial Chemistry". The assessment is about the Solvay process. We have to collect notes, then we bring them into class and answer a q&a thing using the notes we have collected.

Does anybody have any notes to share, besides the ones in the major textbooks?

Anyway if that's your assignment i don't really think we can do it FOR you, but if its just general notes excel/textbooks should more than suffice.

solvay was the best and most basic part of industrial chem, ahhh ernest you're fabulous

just look at the chemical/mechanical processes of it, the environmental impact, uses of Na2CO3 and things to consider (i.e where the plant should be situated so as to minimise costs, minimise waste, maximise revenue etc...) All in the text!
