I'm not even sure it's possible to solve it when n is known. Mathematica says that it can't find any integral: http://integrals.wolfram.com/index.jsp It's not uncommon. It's trivial... write out the series expansion for arctan x - x^3/3 + x^5/5 ... then convolute that n times then integrate term by term.. and that will be your solution
