Are the range for internal marks the same for all schools?
I've been wondering about this, and i can't remember what the liaison officer was saying.

lemme start all over again, the HSC mark is the aligned mark and the scaled is the scaled. it tells u the max mark that someone got and the various percentiles along with the mean and standard deviation and candidature

So all my subjects scaled down.

probably not no, and the ranks are probably more important

They send the raw marks in and 'rankings'.
The rankings is what matters most, but also the difference between each rank is considered.

It doesn't matter what range of marks each school hands in, the board will compensate with the use of rankings.

Say school A has their top mark as 43/100, but school B has top mark as 100/100.

The top in each school obtain a mark of 90/100 for the external HSC, so both students from A and B will get 90/100 for their internal mark.
