Hi All,

I've just got my results for semester 1 in UNSW. Im doing the International Studies degree. I want to transfer to Law/International Studies next year.

In people's experience, what sorts of UAI and GPA do you think is needed to give you a pretty solid chance of transfering into law?

Thanks

See transfer questions thread for calculation, and more figures need to be known--what was your UAI, and what sort of average are you looking at in terms of Pass, Credit, Distinction or High Distinction?

Hey

Yeah ive just been reading through the post by Frigid-really helpful.

My UAI was 98.85 and my first semester result was a distinction average (two HD's, one D and a CR).

GPA=6.25
WAM=80.5

And from what I got from Frig's post my selection rank was 97 i think and NRSL was 97.93

Thanks heaps
M

I am sure if you keep your results up...that you would be able to secure a transfer.

Yeah fingers crossed :S

Can you apply for both internal and external transfer (through UAC)?

i think internal transfer is only if you want to drop a degree (eg from Comm/Law to just Comm) - usually, most transfers are handled with UAC.
