I'm wondering if I could have some opinions. I am entering my second year of a BA and am tossing up whether doing internal or external (correspondence) study through UNE. I am currently living in a semi-remote town in the Northern Territory, so to attend university would require me to move, probably to NSW.
I did my first semester on campus at ANU, and a semester in NZ. I didn't have the best university experience, didn't make any good friends and didn't really put myself out there, but I don't want to "waste" my university experience. At the same time I am quite happy where I am.
I've heard conflicting opinions about correspondence education and I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences or offer some advice? What would others do in my situation?
