Hi guys :)

Im doing a PIP on the exploitation of international students in the workforce, and i really need some International students to take part in my questionnaire.

I know bos probably doesnt have many, and this is probably a long shot, but im pretty much emailing and sending flyers anywhere i can.

So if youre an international student, or you know someone who is ( friend/relative/neighbour ) could you please let them know if they would be willing to participate in a questionnaire. I really need more respondents! Hopefully I run into some right here :p Feel free to just PM me, and i can send the questionnaire through to you :)

Thank youuu.

Ps: This might be in the wrong thread category thingy, i wasnt sure where to put it. So feel free to move it to wherever it belongs, sorry. :)

there are too many international students now! Just cause they can afford to pay for education doesnt mean they don't have to learn PROPER english!!!

I know for some people that can be frustrating. But English is the hardest language in the world is it not ? Its very difficult for them to grasp it as soon as they get here. Most of them do try though. Not knowing English makes them feel quite insecure, theres no doubt they put in the effort. It just takes time. IN students who have been here for 2 or more years can speak just as well as any other person. Its like an Australian person going to Japan and learning to speak, write, act, dress like them straight away and just be able to fit in. It wont happen instantly, itll take getting used to.

I know its really easy to point fingers at some of the things they do/get/privileges/ etc, but after researching these things very thoroughly ( because of my PIP ) I've realized that they have A LOT to deal with, and the last thing they need is to feel uncomfortable in a new country. Its daunting enough as it is when you come here alone. :)

do you realize how long it takes to learn PROPER english for non english speakers ( not their first language)
coz once you are USED to the way english is spoken in YOUR country...its quite difficult to change ....
