Who else shares the love? Turn On The Bright Lights vs Antics? Discuss, or simply marvel at their fabulousness... :) I wish they would tour here this year! But I've been checking their tour programme and it doesn't look promising...

'Antics' was my favourite album of 2004. 'Slow Hands' and 'Not even Jail' were standoutsongs....i equally heart 'Turn on the bright lights'.

Saw them live in August 2003, they are awesome live, very tight, great sound, though they aren't that animated on stage, but they made us for it in musicianship. Plus i met the band afterwards. I Talked to Carlos for about 2minutes, i just complimented him on a great show and the album...

I reckon they'll be here mid year, perhaps for splendour! in the grass!! fingers crossed!

Hmm yeah I agree antics was pretty overhyped, but Evil and Slow Hands were still awesome songs.

zannaz, I know! I had heard that they were gonna be here early this year but now that the U2 support slot has come about, I think they're going to be full up until at least halfway through this year :-( I mean, if they come here with the U2 tour, I'll probably go - but I've heard tickets are ridiculously expensive... And I have already seen them once (but not touring A-Ha). Where did you see Interpol live in 2003? Did they tour here? (jeez, I must've been out of the loop then! hehe).

I love Antics just as equally as TOTBL, but i admit that sometimes I'll skip the middle few songs, whilst I can put TOTBL on repeat for weeks and not get sick of it! My favourite song on TOTBL is Obstacle 2 at the moment, how good is the chorus where you can hear Paul singing over the top of the other voices? Sigh, and Paul is so hot. Second sexiest lazy eye in the business. Except his hair's getting a little long...
