Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Alright, i have this defnition of romanticism by Margaret Drabble: which is as follows:

"an extreme assertion of the self and the value of self experience....its watchword is imagination"

Although i do understand the gist of it, i don't thoroughly understand it. Its proving to be a problem when i have to relate this to the Gothic and specifically the novel Frankenstien.

So some help'll be much appreciated. Thankyou.

Romanticism is that of the individual, expressed through the author's imagination.

I'm pretty sure that's what she's saying.
THANKYOU. :):):):D

It may have taken over 3 days, but thanks!
