Alright, i have this defnition of romanticism by Margaret Drabble: which is as follows:
"an extreme assertion of the self and the value of self experience....its watchword is imagination"
Although i do understand the gist of it, i don't thoroughly understand it. Its proving to be a problem when i have to relate this to the Gothic and specifically the novel Frankenstien.
So some help'll be much appreciated. Thankyou.
