My English exam on into the world is in a week and in the marking criteria it states "Demonstrates a skilful understanding of how characterisation shapes meaning"

Im confused as to what this is asking

Can someone elaborate on what they mean by 'How characterisation shapes meaning'

i think it means show how characters and their relationships with others construct their world and their ability to move into other world (+adapt to change). :)

This is what I think also.

Last year, I talked about how relationships positively enhances the transition for individuals and also changes their outlook and character into their new world. (Ability to adapt into their new world in a positive manner)

Also talked how through a lack of relationship it obstructs their transition into the New World and also it causes issues such as emotional turmoil and etc. (Negative)
