Really? I'm finding all the first years are on their best behaviour, trying to make some new friends. As to lectures/tutes/pracs - I get confused with the words, but I do know that there is a difference between them!

Tutes- Like normal high school classes...u do ur homework and then go over them in the tutes...u also get the chance to go over things u dont understand.
Pracs..mainly science type courses whereby u physically do stuff..experiments...on computers whateva
Lectures....basically that...where ur in a lecture theatre and the lecturer dishes out all the course content.
