Range of f(x) is domain for inverse f(x) so find the range by graphing the function. You can use calculus to find the turning points and then go from there

Well, you need to know whether they are maximum or minimum turning points, then you can decide where can to start with the inverse graph.

Well yea I didn't state it because u should be testing for points regardless esp if it's a graphing q

@O01x is wrong, the question is not about finding the domain of an inverse function, it is about finding which of the domains allow it to be an inverse function. You need to think about the horizontal line test where the line cannot pass through more than one point in order for it to be one-to-one and have an inverse function. The answer is A because it is the only answer that passes the horizontal line test as the turning points are -4 and 7.
