I was wondering what careers and Asscoiations are best suited for someone who likes to analyse Financial Reports and make Strategic biz decisions based on this info, much like in Biz Studies of HSC, and use this info to make investment decisions
And commodities trading, like in the oil business

LOL... business analyst slash investment banker is what ur referring to - one of the most desired positions and most difficult fields to get into.

Firstly, you need mad maths skills for that and a strong desire to learn, because if u have that desire then ur job will be enjoyable - they will constantly give u books to read things to learn etc that will be applicable more so than ur uni studies. With this in mind, u need a theoretical grounding - mainly in maths.

however.... if ur lucky u can become a business analyst for a commercial organisation ( i was referring to banks before) this will require u to analyse statements and use the information to analyse the companies place in the market. this would be for companies like acenture, coca cola all those commercial companies. You dont get to do any commodoties trading however.

hope that helps if u need clarification just ask
