Lol, well, all the good food would be stuffed deeper down in your pockets, the donuts were a last minute addition when you saw an angry Dreamerish duck her head and take a run at you. So of course they fell out :p

Hahaha, well Elisabeth, if you see a girl furiously chasing someone yelling "take all those donuts out of your pockets you ungrateful bastard", that'll be me. :uhhuh:

98.25 and invite.

They probably consider other factors. Such as my olympiad involvement.

I think only people who got 99.95 or 100 were invited, which sucks. A lot.
IIRC (If I recall correctly) from the Degree in a Day speech on scholarships, people who have USYD as their first pref and attain a 99.95 or 100.00 UAI are automatically given scholarships. Congrats to those who received this =]

EDIT: It may have been from when the dean of USYD was talking to us at ABW... But I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in Degree in a Day.

I got 99.55 and usyd invited me to a breakfast. I think because I listed them as my first preference.

Errr...I took another look at my Usyd invite, and it's not a breakfast. Rather, it's an "afternoon tea". Here's what it says:

invite said:
Professor Gavin Brown, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sydney, invites you and your parents to an afternoon tea for high achieving HSC students on Wednesday 4 January, 2006.

Time: 3pm to 4pm
Venue: Holme Building Refectory, Science Road
- Speak with deans from the faculties of the University of Sydney
- Enjoy afternoon tea & refreshments with other talented students
- Spend time at information day
Either we've all been referring to the afternoon tea lazily as a breakfast, or they're completely different.

Well I believe the answer lies with the UAI u got... :)

Extremely high-achieving HSCers get lunch instead of breakfast.
