IPT marks? How were they everybody? (1 Viewer)

I'll go first, i'm a tad disappointed i got 91 school mark, 89 exam, 90 overall. I bombed the DSS section big time.

How did you guys go?

so many people got >90 in ipt meaning the scaling will suck!! i reckon band 6 for ipt will be approx 5% of the state... hmmz... should i redo ipt??

there were 9 or so ppl at our school who did ipt and 4 of them got 90+, in my year doing yr 12 now theres about 30 ppl. how many ppl got 90+ at ur school and how many people were in ur classes?

doesn't a subject get scaled higher if more people do well in that particular subject? e.g in extension 2 maths, lots of ppl do good so it scales high?

I think its the opposite; if less people do well in a subject that means the paper was hard & it scales better.

Tip: start studying for IPT a week b4 the exam and you're sweet.

I only started study 2 days b4 the test = stupid. Yet i still should have done better than 90 if i didnt make such foolish errors.

IPT is all about concepts & seeing the bigger picture of how all the parts work together for a purpose.

I'm a little disapointed with mine but I suppose that's what happens when you stuff up trials because your timetables awful.

Anyway didn't do too badly and apparently I wouldn't have got band 6 anyhow as I came 2nd and the person who came first didn't get on the honour roll.

I got 89.
