whats the scaling profile? is that the table on boredos that has all the subjects next to a number +/- ? ipt is -4.x or something isnt it? kinda shite i reckon it wont go higher tho (if thats wat your talking about...)

that would have already been posted in bored if it was released-> according to 2003, 02, 01 IPT does scale down marginally..

i got 40/55 and that was 1st in the class for the 1st assessment
is that alrite?

ahh well.. just make sure i poison all the guys before the exam, and voila.. im guranteed to pass.. hehe

doesn't scale'ing also depend on the type of class--> for example if your class has a lower average than what is in the state- i'm pretty sure it scales u more down.. i don't think it's the rank that matters.. i think i have to get low/middle 90s to get a band 6.

bloody scaling....ahhh tragedy...but look scaling doesnt matter if you get above 90, just make sure u get that and you'll be fine.

IPT scales slightly badly, but before you go into rage mode like I did upon finding out its not so bad....

To put it into perspective on levels...

1 Physics, Economics etc.
2 Geography, Legal Studies
3 IPT, Engineering Studies, PDHPE
4 Food Tech, Community and Family, Senior Science.

(heh, I did paraphrase this from UAC, i didn't just pull it out of my ass)

Besides, its very easy to get high marks in IPT. Anybody who is either smart or puts a fairly decent amount of work in can get a band 5 easily. Band 6 is a little harder to get, you have to cover EVERYTHING in your answers, analysis of systems etc. but its do-able.
