No

Moderate at best, it's generally not something which interests me and as such I don't concern myself with it.

Q16. Would you convert to another religion if it corresponded more with your way of life? Why/why not?
Doubtful, I can't see myself changing my views to an extent where following any religion makes sense.

Q10 Is your religion a symbol of heritage/ culture? No

Q11. Are you required to sacrifice anything to show respect for the higher power in which you believe? If so, what is it? Eg volunteer work, money.

No, but I prefer to live with some ethical standards.

Q14. Does praying/worshipping help resolve problems .eg. anxiety or fear? N/A

Q16. Would you convert to another religion if it corresponded more with your way of life? Why/why not?

I would not, because I believe that is sort of a salesman attitude: I am not going to 'buy into' a religion because it paralells what I personally believe. I think that is an act of convenience and commiting to a subservient frame of mind where we seek superior beings.

4. Regardless of whether we are natural or supernatural in origin, we can give meaning to our lives by practicing love and morality

Q8 Would you consider yourself to be religious?
I don't like the stigma attached to the word 'religion' but yes

b.) If so what religion do you confide by?
Christian - protestant

Q9 Are your religious beliefs influenced by your parents?
I am glad I grew up in a Christian home but believe that even if I hadn't I would have become a Christian because God chose me to to become one

Q10 Is your religion a symbol of heritage/ culture? ----------
No - Christianity is for anyone, regardless of heritage/culture

Q11. Are you required to sacrifice anything to show respect for the higher power in which you believe? If so, what is it? Eg volunteer work, money.
We are not forced to sacrifice anything - God commands us to tithe (one tenth of what we earn) to him and to further the work of the church but if that's impossible, that's fine. the important thing is that we should want to serve him and do things for him and other people. if that means I give up some time, money etc then so be it.

Q12. In you religious faith what do you feel you gain from your religion?
I gain salvation - I gain God's grace, meaning that I don't have to go to Hell, even thought that is what I deserve because Jesus decided to take the punishment of death for me so I can go to heaven and be with God forever. I gain a sense of community and a heavenly Father who cares about me and who I can talk to whenever I want. I gain a guide to living my life, a group of friends who are like my extended family and many words for any situation, whether I am happy or upset.

Q13. How often do you pray/ worship your divine leader?
I go to Church every Sunday, Youth Group every Friday and most Saturdays (though this is more to hang out than anything else) and a prayer meeting for the whole church on Wednesday. I can pray to God whenever I want and do so

Q14. Does praying/worshipping help resolve problems .eg. anxiety or fear?
Yes. God always answers prayer even if it doesn't seem like it. An answer to prayer doesn't mean getting exactly what I asked for like I want it but rather is a response. God can respond in the Bible (say I pray for food an answer is "Do not worry about tomorrow...") or he can respond with a specific 'no', 'not yet' or 'yes' to what we ask. Praying is just a way of talking to God and letting him know what's going on in our lives - telling him your problems and knowing he'll always be with you is definately a comfort.

Q15. How much do you know about other religions?
A lot - I love studying other religions. I do Studies of Religion at school and have read many books on religion (by a person of that the religion, of Christian faith, or of no faith)

Q16. Would you convert to another religion if it corresponded more with your way of life? Why/why not?[/quote]
No way. My way of life has nothing to do with my 'religion'. It is the truth and starting to practice or believe in another religion isn't going to change that. Religion is not about finding what's best for you - it's about realising that there is only one way that we can be saved from an eternity in Hell and instead live with God forever in a place of total happiness, no pain and no tears. No matter what my life is like I will be a Christian - I think it is truth and nothing's going to change that.

PS. Sorry if I offend anyone with the above comments; I just wanted to be honest to help the OP to get accurate results
