Oh, ok then where is the connection between the originality (lack there of) of BB and Aussie Idol? Or am i missing something

Australian culture is not very unique at all, since most popular modern culture in Australia is just offloaded american culture. I reckon New Zealand has a more unique culture with its clean natural environment, independent foreign policy and sheep farming lifestyle comparitively untainted by american cultural imperialism.
