i know this sounds dumb...but in a textbook i saw in the working out to get the volume....they multiplied the concentration and moles

giving : V = CN

but if u look at c=n/v

and then u multiply it both by V to get: CV=N

and then divide by C to get: V=N/C

its just mathematically different!?

what am i doing wrong?

I don't know what your textbook was on about but c=n/v, n=cv, v=n/c are all equivalent and correct. :)

I believe dynamic equilibrium is when the forward and reverse reactions of a process occur at the same rate. Also the process obviously needs to be reversible for dynamic equilibrium to occur. I guess you could always use an example with equations to show your knowledge and understanding in a 4 mark question. Hope that helps.

think of it as a triangle...

N
C V
put a finger over n u get N=CV
put a finger over c u get C=N/V
and over V u get V=N/C
