so I know that changing flux according to faradays law produces an EMF. And eddy currents arise from changing flux. So do eddy currents induce because of faradays law or nah?

EMF is basically another way of saying voltage or potential difference (all 3 are used interchangeably in the HSC), so it is not current, but it can give rise to a current.

Sure do come about due to Faraday.

Change in flux gives rise to an induced EMF (Faradays Law), this gives rise to currents, the direction of which is such that they give rise to a magnetic field to minimise the change in flux (Lenz).
