Is is posible to drop Ext. English in yr 12 ?? (1 Viewer)

i was just wondering..
are we allowed to take up ext. 1 in yr 11 n if it's too hard can we drop back to advanced english in yr 12??
is that ok??
could ask my teachers lol..buh school holz at the moment!!

Yuppers - you can drop a course basically right up to the actual HSC exam(of course that could mean if you don't have enough units you won't get a HSC...).

Course you can. As long as you're not doing extension 2 it's all good.

Even Ext 2 students have dropped out weeks or days prior to handing in MW's - so you can drop at any time :

My teachers always said that you should do the highest feasible, and just drop it if you can't do it. The worst that can happen is that you'll feel ridiculous for one year - and then post-dropping, everything you do will feel so EASY!

Plus, you'll learn something from EE1 - it'll study texts in a lot more depth, which will stand you in good stead for Adv Eng

mebbe i'll try extension n drop if i can't handle it..
probably make life a bit more easier than thinking 2 yrs later i should've chosen ext.
atleast i'll gib myself a chance
