Hi everyone!

I currently do Maths Advanced and Extension 1 and with the new syllabus there's only 2 past papers and 1 sample paper. I was just wondering for more practice would it be better to do relevant questions from old HSC's Maths syllabus or questions from other school's trials that is reflective of the new syllabus?

Its just that with trial questions, it may not be too reflective of actual HSC questions (e.g. some trials are easier in comparison) while old syllabus questions may be outdated. (Excluding the topics that are not in the new syllabus.)

Keen to your thoughts!

Thanks.

I would say that Trial papers would be your best bet. If you want harder questions look into the Bored of Studies 2020 and 2021 trial pack for ext1. I do have resources for individual topics which have questions from older HSC papers (from like 2000s) and newer HSC papers, send a message if you want them.

Definitely trial papers, you don’t want to neglect new syllabus topics
