I can't seem to fit in 3 body paragraphs within timed conditions for Mod A - is it fine to do 2 long body paras for Mod A or is 4 a must?

same i have 2. With 4 quotes in each (but analysis is super detailed).

I got 17/20 for one essay so I think its ok.

yea doing 2 is so much easier lol. And you can actually go in detail for 2 instead of rushing 3. Each para is like 350-400 words for me tho. Just make sure you are not going off topic. Thats the only concern teachers have with large bodies.

yah tbh now that i practised a bit i realised that alternating paras dont really make sense as you're not comparing at all in the first para

integrated sounds very awkward if ur not skilled and u can defo compare with separate paragraphs

like for eg, body para 1- is about the first text - how do you compare here if the second text is in body para 2?

you can but, its stronger to do it through an integrated approach so your actively comparing.

yea no way you can do 3 with seperate approach. It's either gonna be 4 rushed or 2 detailed.

yea honestly i prefer seperate (4 paras). But the topic sentences and links add a-lot of words lol. Better to do 2 integrated. Plus it sounds better as your actively analysing.
