AMP are hiring full time customer service staff in corporate superannuation (sounds fancy but its easy)

And GE (they just hired 20 people 2 weeks ago...and hiring for January as well)

Some of hte banks are also hiring branch staff and call centre as well.

Most big companies hire through the agencies...

You will have to be on a bigger lookout as many companies have sort out new people already and this happened around September. They are really, really busy as well so see if you can find work somewhere small like a coffee shop or cafe. You really do need some experience if you want to pursue retail because many people apply. Start small and work your way up and be patient, you will eventually get there.
