No, it's not true. The questions are different every year.

they're recycled but whos to say every five years, could be earlier :3
Proof? Not that I think it's impossible, but I'd like to see some verification.

If they're repeating questions then it's very easy to pre-write essays perfectly catered to specific questions.

hmm coz u kno in english how every 3 years the core crap changes so recycling questions seems highly possible to me just my 2cents could be wrong yeh dont trust me :L
They don't change every 3 years, it's longer than that. Belonging will be the AOS until at least 2014.

It's possible that questions may be repeated with different topics. However, they can't really be stated as the same question if that's the case.

Last year in modern, the WW2 question was almost identical to the 2007 question. Its uncommon, but they can ask extremely similar questions to what they have before. There isnt a rule preventing them from doing it.

Similar is possible, there's only a finite number of questions that can be asked on a broad topic. But to have it exactly the same sort of defeats the purpose of exam conditions.

In any case, you should definitely go over past exam questions to know roughly what to expect.

I usually just end up analysing a text anyway and changing afew words to fit in even if they crap makes no sense. The English teachers seem to make sense of it...
