as harsh as it sounds

don't look into it

go with the flow

you're young

you're loved

life is good.
couldn't agree more :)

unless you think this fairly serious as in, wanna spend the rest of my life with this dude and grow old and senile with him serious; then I'd go into the deep stuff.
I'm not trying to be mocking btw.

If you can't go with your feelings and trust them as being accurate, what's the alternative? It either makes you happy or it doesn't, if it makes you happy then chances are it's love, or something close enough. (Read as: Less doubt, more fun) :)

(Also, I don't get this disclaimer on stuff that couldn't possibly be offensive or taken that way in the first place thing. )

who cares if it's love

if you feel completely happy around him, who cares if it's love, if he makes you happy, then stay with him.
and try not to let your mind go crazy, it happens to the best of us, and i personally have ruined some of the best relationships and then the friendship by thinking too much into it.
your happiness right now is all that matters

love is finding someone whose faults are even perfect for you.
love is wanting someone for everything they are, personality, looks, spirit, and them wanting you the same way.
love is a feeling really deep in your heart that tells you that you want to be with that person forever, even if you cant be.
it's all that and more. love is everything. love is lovely. love love love love love!

Love is when she farts or burps like a pig and you couldn't give a rats arse. She still looks amazingly angelic in your eyes.

alby, I misinterpreted your first post as being in the situation where you actually loved him more than he loved you. But I guess not now. :)

u get like that wen ur maturing and u realise that wat u wanted wen u were younger is not wat u want now.

u realise wat u want now, therefore u assess whether wat u hv now is wat u want or not.

yeah, i know. he makes me really really happy :) but of course, why break up if it's not precisely love..that'd just be stupid (and quite shallow).
i try not to let my mind control me...but i guess if you have a lot of free time it happens, you think too much, and the worries/doubts come back.....and then you have this whole thread again (..yay..).

heheh that's cute :D accepting their 'faults' as a part of them is one of the most important things you need in a relationship. my boyfriend has lots of things which would normally get on my nerves a bit, but the way i feel about him makes me forget about them and makes my time with him the best time ever :) and if they did begin to piss me off, i'd just tell him to quit it for a bit, and then chuckle and continue to have fun :)

i'm 18 for the record (checking profiles help), and i know i shouldnt be concerned but it did make me wonder. i know that a lot of people my age (basically anyone under 21) wouldnt really give a rats arse about how much/whether they loved their partner or not (and vice versa), but i guess me being me makes me think about this sort of stuff. relationships are important to me, i'm not the type who'll go out with someone for the sake of it - if i began a relationship i want to put in some effort and try to make sure that its the best it can be.

Me too, when I begin a relationship, I take it very seriously. I would never cheat ony my boyfriend and I always try to make it last.

I'm lucky that my boyfriend feels the same. Otherwise we can't talk about all the deep stuff and plan so far ahead.

i probably dont take it as seriously as someone like you who's been with him for ages (6 months is a fair while, but it isnt THAT long). i take it seriously as in wanting to make it last (eg. not cheating) and we talk about (fairly) deep stuff....i think a bit about the future, but i think i might feel a bit weird (or scared) about planning that far ahead (i'm thinking weddings and the like)

hey

ive been going out with my boy for 2 years and it pretty serious, but it doesnt mean you have to worry about marriage etc

chris and i don't like the thought of it. its nice in one way, its also scary the other, since we wont be able to fool around anymore, but we said, if we're still together by 25 or something like that, we "might as well" if you get what i mean.

we've talked about moving in with each other but that's as far as its gone. maybe you should talk about that if youre really serious, or at that stage anyway

best not to think about it heh.

EDIT: and i dont go out for the sake of it either.... if thats what youre thinking

i know we're not that serious - 6 months is really short to be thinking that far ahead. and i know that i'm not ready to move in with him - i like my independance/me time too much. i may be at his place more than he's here, but that's still only a couple of days a week max. i love him and all, but moving in is still a massive step that i'm definitely not ready for yet, and i'm pretty sure he feels about the same.
EDIT: and i dont go out for the sake of it either.... if thats what youre thinking
i definitely didnt think that - after 2 years its pretty obvious that you dont
